STORAGE TANK INSPECTION & CALIBRATION
With 3D laser scanning, storage tank inspections and calibrations can be performed with unparalleled accuracy and efficiency, significantly reducing errors, downtime, and costs compared to conventional methods. By capturing millions of data points per second, 3D laser scanners ensure that even the smallest details of a storage tank are accurately captured and represented in a highly accurate and detailed point cloud.
Using specialized software for storage tank inspection, we process the point cloud data obtained from 3D laser scanning to generate a comprehensive storage tank inspection report. This report includes essential analyses such as a tank volume table, best cylinder, tank unroll, color map, differential settlement, localized settlement, roundness, and verticality assessments.
Our 3D laser scanning workflow accommodates a wide range of storage tank sizes, shapes, and types, including both aboveground and underground storage tanks, providing a flexible and reliable solution for inspection and calibration needs. Beyond storage tank inspections, we also offer a comprehensive suite of services, including the creation of 3D mesh models, 2D and 3D CAD models, BIM models, plant design models, construction verification, deformation and wear analysis, topographic mapping, GPR underground mapping, and XRF and thickness analysis. These services extend to both storage tanks and their surrounding environments, supporting inspection, maintenance, and the installation of equipment.
