STORAGE TANK

INSPECTION

STORAGE Tank Inspection

With 3D scanning, a tank inspection can be completed highly accurately and efficiently—reducing downtime and costs. As 3D laser scanners scan millions of points per second even the smallest details of tanks are scanned and represented in a 3D point cloud. Through 3D scanning, a tank inspection can be created which includes a tank volume table, best cylinder, color map, tank unroll, differential settlement, localized settlement, roundness, and verticality. A tank inspection can be performed on a wide variety of tank sizes, shapes, and types (including both aboveground and underground storage tanks).
